This project was a great opportunity to bring my artistic creativity and an influence of Kenyan culture in collaboration with technology in the form of code, which I enjoy experimenting with immensely, as well as my other love, music.
Many of you may have heard of the very talented Joshua Davis, who has made a living from creating his own coding language and inspired many other digital artists in the process. He has used this language to play around with artwork, in combination with incredible music.
These experimentations with code, art and music have led to him working for world-renowned names in the music industry including Pharell Williams, Deadmau5, Diplo and Kiran Gandhi to name a few. With a resident gig at the Super Bowl to boast, it was indeed a great honour to be taught by the legend. By looking at his work you may agree it is awesome and the personality of the man himself is definitely equally amazing and eccentric to match. There is definitely never a dull moment with Joshua Davis!

The code is created in Sublime text and with the collaboration of Processing and Java, in order for the artwork to be built and the visual effect seen below created.
Joshua loved the work produced and the backstory behind the artwork, awarding it an A grade.
